Online Abnormal Load Permit Application and Payment System.
You can now apply and pay for your Abnormal Load Permit
online.
A special Permit is required to transport a vehicle or load which exceeds the
maximum weights and dimensions specified in
S.I. No. 5 of
The Road Traffic (Construction and Use of
Vehicles) Regulations 2003 for mechanically propelled vehicles and trailers
on a public road.
Please note: Once you have applied
and paid for your Abnormal Load Permit you will be required to complete the
Abnormal Load Journey Form for each journey. You may download the
Abnormal Load Journey Form here (Word Format) or at the end of the payment
process. You may then email, fax or post the completed Abnormal Load Journey
Form remembering to quote your eReceipt number each time. You will receive your
eReceipt number at the end of the payment process.
