A new Register of Electors is prepared each year and preparatory work has now commenced on the Register which will come into force on 15th February, 2012.
If you wish to obtain an Application Form for inclusion on the Postal or Special Voters Lists (excluding the Postal Voters List for Prisoners), please contact the Corporate Affairs Section, Mayo County Council at (094) 9047353 / 9047700 during normal office hours. Completed Application Forms must be returned to the County Secretary not later than 25th November, 2011 for inclusion in the Special and Postal Voters Lists for 2012/2013.
Supplement to Special and Postal Voters Lists, 2011/2012 – Presidential Election/Referenda
If you wish to be included in the above Lists (excluding the Supplement to the Postal Voters List for Prisoners) for the forthcoming Presidential Election/Referenda to be held in October, 2011, you should apply immediately to ensure that your application is received on time. The closing date is 2 days after the Ministerial Order appointing Polling Day is signed (unknown at present).
