 PROPOSED TURLOUGH HOUSE GREENWAY – PHASE 2

SUMMERFIELD, CASTLEBAR TO THE NATIONAL MUSEUM OF IRELAND –COUNTRY LIFE,  TURLOUGH HOUSE AND TURLOUGH VILLAGE

 THE DEVELOPMENT WILL PASS THROUGH THE TOWLANDS OF: - ANNALECKA, AGHALUSKY, DRUMASK, BALLYNEW, LISCROMWELL, BALLYNEGGIN, BREANDRUM OR WINDSOR, CLOGHER(ED-TURLOUGH), LECKNEEN, GORTNAFOLLA AND TURLOUGH.

 Pursuant to the requirements of Section 179 of the Planning and Development Acts, 2000-2010 and Part 8 of the Planning and Development Regulations, 2001 as amended,  notice is hereby given that Mayo CountyCouncil proposes to carry out development, particulars of which are set out in the Schedule hereunder.

 Plans and particulars of the proposed development will be available for inspection or purchase at a fee not exceeding the reasonable cost of making a copy during normal opening hours i.e. 9.00 a.m. to 13.00 p.m. and 14.00 to 17.00 p.m. at Aras an Chontae, Castlebar from  5th  February, 2013 to 7th March, 2013.

 Submissions and observations with regard to the proposed development, dealing with the proper planning and sustainable development of the area in which the development would be situated may be made in writing to Mr. P. Flanagan, Senior Executive Officer, Mayo County Council, Áras an Chontae, The Mall, Castlebar, Co. Mayo  so as to be received not later than  4 p.m. on Thursday, 21st March, 2013.

Construction of 9 km of linear greenway for the purpose of walking and cycling on a line mainly parallel to Castlebar River
