Quick Guide To The Planning Process

Overview:

  1. Obtain an application form.
  2. Advertise proposed application in any of the newspapers and submit this notice with application within 14 days of the advertisement. (View application notice info.)
  3. Place a Site Notice adjacent to the site. (View site notice info.)
  4. Attach appropriate documents to application form. (View required documents info.)
  5. Submit complete application form together with appropriate fee. (View fee info.)

Forward Planning Updates

Mayo County Development Plan Review Process is Paused until after the Regional Spatial & Economic Strategy (RSES) is published.

The RSES is due to be published in early 2019, please check back then for further updates on the preparation of the County Plan.
