Planning: Documents

Required Documents

  1. The relevant page of the newspaper in which the notice of the application has been published.
  2. Six copies of site location map of sufficient size and detail to identify the site to which the application relates.
  3. One copy of the site notice.
  4. A plan showing the position of the site notice or notices affixed to the land or structure.
  5. Six copies of such plans, including a site layout plan and drawings of floor plans, elevations and sections which comply with the requirements of the Regulations, and describe the works to which the application relates.
  6. A schedule listing the drawings described in (E).
  7. A Section 97 Certificate (if applicable).
  8. The appropriate fee.

All maps must be in metric scale.

Current News

DRAFT REGIONAL SPATIAL & ECONOMIC STRATEGY - PUBLIC CONSULTATION

The Northern & Western Regional Assembly has published a Draft Regional Spatial and Economic Strategy (RSES) for the region. This will replace the current Regional Planning Guidelines and is drawn up in conjunction with the various enterprise and economic development agencies.

The consultation period for making submissions on the Draft RSES to the Regional Assembly is open until 5pm on 9th February 2019.

The Draft RSES and supporting documents are available to view/download from www.nwra.ie/rses

Forward Planning Updates

Mayo County Development Plan Review Process is paused until after the Regional Spatial & Economic Strategy (RSES) is published.

The RSES is due to be published in early 2019, please check back then for further updates on the preparation of the County Development Plan.
