Public Notice: Amendments to the Draft Mayo County Development Plan 2008-2014

NOTICE OF HAVING MADE AMENDMENTS/MATERIAL ALTERATIONS TO THE DRAFT OF THE PROPOSED DEVELOPMENT PLAN FOR THE COUNTY OF MAYO.

Notice is hereby given that Mayo County Council has in pursuance of the provisions of the above Acts, made amendments/material alterations to the DRAFT OF THE PROPOSED DEVELOPMENT PLAN for

THE COUNTY OF MAYO

A copy of the amendments/material alterations to the Draft Plan, together with a Strategic Environmental Report on the likely effects on the Environment of implementing the proposed amendments, will be open to public inspection during office hours each day on which the office is open to the public during the period from 4th February 2008 to 3rd March 2008 inclusive, at the following locations:

  1. Mayo County Council, Planning Office, Aras an Chontae, The Mall, Castlebar.
  2. At all branch libraries.
  3. The Councils Area Offices in Ballina, Belmullet, Swinford, Newport, Claremorris, Ballinrobe and Westport.

Any written submissions made to the Planning Authority during the period from 4th February 2008 to 3rd March 2008 inclusive, with respect to the proposed amendments/material alterations to the Draft of the Development Plan or the Strategic Environmental Report on the likely effects on the Environment of implementing the proposed amendments, will be taken into consideration before the making of the Development Plan.

All written submissions or observations must state the name and address of the person or body making the submission or observation and must be forwarded to:

Ms. Dette Cunningham, Senior Executive Planner, Forward Planning Section, Mayo County Council, Aras an Chontae, Castlebar, Co Mayo.
