Music Development Strategy: Consultation
Mayo County Council's Arts Office is in the process of creating a Music Development Strategy, where the priorities of Mayo County Council in relation to music are specified. This strategy will be implemented under our next Arts Plan (2007 – 2012).
The generation of this strategy is being driven by a significant consultative exercise, with the views of those involved and interested in the development of music in Mayo being actively sought.
We would be very grateful if you would review the related documents (see below) which outline the current components of our music service, define our remit and area of operation, and a position paper which requires consideration. Your views together with those of other respondents will be considered in the formulation of the final music strategy.
We would be grateful if you would provide your comments and feedback, preferably in writing or by email, to the Arts Office by Friday 20th October, 2006.

These documents together form the background information for the public consultation which will be included in the Arts Plan 2007-2012.
