Amateur Drama Award 2009 - Recipient announced!
The Erris Players have been awarded the Mayo County Council Amateur Drama Award for 2009.
The group have contributed much to the cultural life of the region and aim to develop and promote an awareness of artistic and dramatic values in remote areas in Erris and further a field.
Mayo Arts Office would like to take this opportunity to wish Erris Players the very best of luck in all future endeavours.
Mayo County Council Amateur drama awards are assessed by an independent, expert selection board on the following criteria: innovation; development of excellence; quality and creativity. All Amateur Drama groups based in the county are eligible to apply for the award.
