Mayo County Council Music Recording Assistance Award 2009 - Recipients Announced
Mayo County Council’s Music Recording Assistance Award has shown once again the breadth and the quality of music in the county. From classical to rock, from choral to trad, many forms of music were represented, and the high standard made very difficult work for the assessment panel.
This year’s successful applicants were classical pianist Maria McGarry and Grace Notes Choir. Each award, of €800, is to assist singers, musicians and composers with the costs of recording.
