Grounded - Youth Theatre Event

Mayo Arts Service presents Grounded – A Youth Theatre Event.  This event has been supported by Creative Ireland.

Date: Saturday March 9th

Venue: GMIT, Castlebar

Duration: 10-5pm

Costs: Cost of running the event is covered by funders

Food:  Lunch will be provided, please bring snacks/drinks as required.

(Adult supervision will take place during the event.)

  • Free return Bus departing Ballina Arts Centre and Scoil Phádraig Westport (in line with existing youth theatres in Mayo)

Catherine Donnelly Dancer: Catherine Donnelly is a performer / choreographer member of Dance Ireland, living and based in Mayo, has been working as an independent dance artist for nearly 20 years. 


Jed Murray Performance Theatre:  is a writer, director, actor and drama facilitator from Dublin City centre. He has worked on projects such as ‘The Boys of Foley St’ (Anu). ‘Game of Thrones’, ‘Love Hate’ and ‘Vikings’.


Tickets to a professional theatre show has been organised for participants who attend Grounded.  The production is for Pat Kinevane’s, Underneath, which takes place during the Easter holidays on Wednesday the 17th of April in the Linenhall Arts Centre, Castlebar
