Comhaltas Ceoltóirí Éireann Summer Music Sessions

There will be traditional musical sessions in Áras Inis Gluaire every Thursday evening at 9.00 p.m., until August 26. Join Craobh Chlann Lir (Erris branch of Comhaltas Ceoltóirí Éireann) for lively evenings of traditional music, song, dance and storytelling. Watch, listen – and even take part – as some of our best young performers showcase their talents with an enjoyable and intimate presentation of authentic Irish cultural traditions. There will be different guest singers and dancers each week. All musicians, dancers and singers are welcome to join in. Jeff Tuttle

International country music star, Jeff Tuttle, kicks off his 2010 Irish tour at Áras Inis Gluaire on Friday, August 6. Born and raised in Michigan, Jeff began singing country music in the Detroit area in 1990. He lived in Nashville for several years and has worked with some of the biggest names in country music. He has shared the stage with Waylon Jennings, Johnny Cash, Willie Nelson, Tammy Wynette, Randy Travis, Martina McBride, Trisha Yearwood, Billy Ray Cyrus, Garth Brooks, Aaron Tippin, Tanya Tucker, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Hank Williams Jr, Faith Hill, Sara Evans, Kenny Chesney, Keith Urban, and Brooks & Dunn, to name a few. Jeff has recently moved from Nashville to Co. Mayo, and will perform at 9.00 p.m. on Friday, August 6, in Áras Inis Gluaire, Belmullet. Tickets €15 / €12.
