Limerick City Gallery of Art holds a historically significant collection of art from the 18th century to the present day and has an exciting exhibition programme of contemporary art of local, national and international interest.  The ambition of the gallery is to deliver an excellent inclusive service to an increasing audience.  The gallery seeks to develop its role as a primary visitor attraction in the context of a creative city.Limerick City Gallery of Art is currently undertaking a large scale redevelopment of the historic Carnegie Building; the Limerick City Gallery of Art Phase II Development, funded by the Department of Tourism, Culture and Sport.  Limerick City Gallery of Art is located off-site temporarily at Limerick City Council, Istabraq Hall, Merchants Quay.  Limerick City Gallery of Art will return to the Carnegie Building in autumn 2011.

Choir Musical Director (Sept 2011 - Feb 2012)

Community choir requires a qualified Musical Director with experience of working with choirs for an Arts Council-funded project running between September 2011 and February 2012.

We now seek a qualified and experienced Musical Director with keyboard skills and the ability to self accompany to work with us over the course of this programme (September 2011 to February 2012).

North Tipperary Arts Office Seek Festival Co-Ordinator - Tipperary

Leitrim County Council Arts Office seeks artists for 2011/12 Artist in Schools Scheme.

Leitrim County Council Arts Office seeks five artists to take part in the Artist in Schools Scheme 2011/12.  We are looking for artists who have experience in delivering high quality arts experiences for children and young people and who are interested in working collaboratively with the selected school.

The Artists in Schools scheme funds an artist to work in a primary school for 50 hours contact time at a rate of €40/hr and an additional five hours development time at the same rate.  The total fee is €2,200 will be paid in two instalments, half the total fee at the commencement and half at the completion of the project

From the applications received, a shortlist of artists will be invited to attend interview so we can match artists' skills to schools needs.  Schools are invited separately to register their interest in the scheme.  A special facilitated planning afternoon (part of the 5hr development time) designed to involve schools more fully in the planning process will take place in early October and successful artists and designated teachers will be required to attend this meeting.

The Centre & Outreach Coordinator is a key position within Dance Theatre of Ireland, based in its premises in Dun Laoghaire with management, marketing and administration responsibilities in three primary areas:

1) The programme of Classes for the public at the Centre for Dance

2) The Company's nationwide Educational Outreach Programme of workshops and performances, and

3) The facilities of the Centre for Dance, including the physical plant, studio equipment, studio hire and part-time personnel. 

This is a dynamic position involving contact with people and high degree of financial management & accountability, record keeping, numerical literacy and analysis. The Centre for Dance has some 3000 people engaged in dance activities throughout the year. The position requires management and marketing experience in arts, service or retail sectors, plus technical and business acumen.  Fluency in MS Excel and MS Access as well MS Publisher and Adobe Photoshop are essential.

The right candidate will have a proven record of personable public client contact, an interest in life-long learning and an appreciative interest in dance or physical leisure pursuits. They will be a succinct, yet enthusiastic communicator, who enjoys people, and possesses fluent numeracy, marketing, organisational and computer skills.  Minimum 3 years Management Experience in the Arts or equivalent.

Catalyst Arts has an archive spanning 18 years of contemporary art activity in Belfast

The Catalyst Arts Committee seeks to secure the safe future of our archive by setting up a committee who will actively pursue funding opportunities and make decisions on the location and details surrounding its upkeep and development.  It is anticipated the committee would meet on a monthly basis and include eight members from a range of backgrounds.
