PUBLIC ART COMMISSION: OPPORTUNITY FOR PERFORMING ARTS PRACTITIONERS
Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council Arts Office invites proposals for a performing arts commission focusing on the exploration of sensory disabilities. The commission is open to either individuals or companies/collaborators to apply. It is anticipated that the successful applicant will work collaboratively with groups(s) of people with sensory disabilities in the Stillorgan electoral area of the county.
DLR is particularly interested in practitioners who work in a collaborative manner (either on a conceptual level or directly through participation), are flexible in their approach and responsive to the needs of those involved.
The budget for the commission is €14,000 inclusive and the closing date for submissions is Tuesday 24th June.

UNIVERSITY HOSPITAL LIMERICK: PER CENT FOR ART SCHEME – INVITATION TO TENDER
UniversityHospitalLimerick, Dooradoyle is being transformed into a major university hospital and the major acute centre for the mid-west region with significant capital developments being progressed at the site.
The HSE is now inviting Artists to tender for the provision of original art work(s) for public display at the main entrance internal roundabout at the Hospital, under the terms of the Government ”Per Cent for Art Scheme”.
The available funding is €51,000.
Please note the HSE is not obliged to accept any proposal submitted and should the standard of work or insurance or proposals be deemed unacceptable then no art work commission may be awarded.
The deadline for receipt of proposals is by 3pm on Friday 16th May 2014.

COLÁISTE POBAIL BHEANNTRAÍ PER CENT FOR ART COMMISSION
Coláiste Pobail Bheanntraí, Seskin, Bantry, Co. Cork is a Community College that has been granted a budget of €64,000 under the Per Cent for Art Scheme to produce an art based commission programme for our school. The school’s Per Cent for Art Committee warmly invites submissions from practicing artists working in all artforms.

Film Commission Opportunities for Emerging Filmmakers
Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council invites applications from emerging filmmakers, through its public art programme of commissions, for two new short films. The funding provided for each work will be €7,000 inclusive. The commissions are open to short films or documentaries and the work must be shot in the Glencullen area of Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown. The work is being commissioned under the Per Cent for Art scheme.

Mayo County Council Arts Office is currently developing a new five-year strategic arts plan for the county, which will be produced early next year.
We are actively seeking the views of those involved and interested in the arts, at all levels, within the county. This includes arts venues, festivals, artists, communities and people who use, or who benefit from our service.
