Exhibiting at Turn-berlin
Turn-berlin is an artist funded space, with a large gallery in the middle of the biggest concentration of art in Europe. We are working to find the most effective ways of progressing an artists name and reputation. By introducing a more integrated approach we can be more effective and develop wider opportunities.
The intense experience of showing work in a gallery is the best way to have work seen. To get the most from  exhibiting which can be a relatively short event, to include it as part of a comprehensive package gives more considered exposure. Developing a name is the only way forward, it takes time and a lot of determination. This is why many artists are finding new ways of being seen. If you don’t exhibit you are only doing half of the job, but taking a positive approach to exhibiting should include other forms.
We are now big enough to be a representational gallery offering a full promotional package. More information on turn-berlin’s long term approach to developing artists is on the following link: http://turn-berlin.de/application/index.html
Address: turn-berlin Gallery, Josetti Höfe, Rungestr 22-24, 10179 Berlin, Germany.
Deadline: Open.

The Deadline for applications is May 18th 2014. Please Email all applications to ccam@gmit.ie

The program aims to provide opportunities for artists to research and develop their practice in the privacy of their own studio and with access to GMIT’s Library and Macintosh editing facilities. The residency will be of most benefit to artists seeking space and quiet time to focus on their artistic development. New service for VAI Members - International Studio Exchange with fellow artists around the world

We are pleased to announce a new service available to paid members of Visual Artists Ireland.  In partnership with Artquest, VAI has negotiated places for members on their Artelier international studio exchange.  Artelier is for professional visual artists to arrange free studio exchanges with their peers anywhere in the world.

Membership of Artelier is by 'invitation only' to ensure it is only used by professional visual artists and is safe for members. Members can request an invitation by contacting us through our Artelier webpages.

This is a great opportunity to meet fellow artists around the world and potentially find artists with studios looking to exchange with the city you live in.  You can also find and arrange free accommodation or a studio on holiday or when working overseas, or indeed, find someone to look after your studio or apartment while you are away.

Artelier keeps your exact location and personal contact information private until you choose to let individual artists know where you are.
