Create seeks Director/Chief Executive

The Board of Create, the national development agency for collaborative arts, is seeking to recruit an experienced Director/Chief Executive to lead this dynamic and vibrant arts organisation to the next stage of its development, nationally and internationally. This vital and exciting role will be of interest to senior arts leaders who have ambition, drive, vision and a passion for the arts plus a genuine interest in the role of great art and artists in broader civil society. Create is seeking candidates who have  direct experience of cultural leadership and in implementing inspiring interdisciplinary programmes of artistic work. Create aims for excellence in all strands of its programme, including commissioning, producing and broader public engagement with different communities. OPW: Call for Panel of Art/Fine Art Conservators, Art Framers and Art Handlers

The Office of Public Works (OPW) is responsible for the management of the State art collection, which now comprises over 15,000 works by over 1,500 artists, installed in State buildings throughout Ireland. The collection is diverse and composed mainly of framed paintings spanning from the 17th Century to the present day. In addition, there are works on paper (including individual drawings, watercolours, prints and photographs). The collection also comprises of fine-art pieces and decorative works composed of metal, glass, ceramic, wood, etc. together with historical objects made from a variety of materials. The transportation and installation of this collection is a core concern for the Office of Public Works. The Art Management office of the OPW wishes to appoint a panel of suitably qualified specialist art handling / art transport companies to support this important aim. The National Procurement Service of the OPW will appoint three panels of suitably qualified Art/Fine Art Conservators, Art Framers and Art Handlers.

Call for experts

The Education, Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA) is seeking to set up a database of experts in the fields of education, youth, sport, culture, audiovisual and citizenship to assist at EU level.

Experts will assist the EACEA in the management of the following funding programmes:

  • Erasmus + (education, youth, sport)
  • Europe for Citizens
  • Creative Europe (MEDIA, culture)
  • EU Aid Volunteers
