St Casimir, Lithuania’s patron saint, is honoured each year in Vilnius during Kaziukas Fair, a tradition dating back to the 17th Century. In the spirit of this tradition, the Linenhall will play host to Castlebar’s very own Kaziukas Fair, with an Arts & Crafts Fair presenting a whole range of Lithuanian goods and crafts, including jewellery, knitted goods, straw baskets, baked goods and lots more. Made In Ireland Arts & Crafts Fair
And for all the family, on St. Patrick’s Day (March 17), we will be holding a Déanta in Éirinn arts and craft fair, which will run from 11.00 a.m. until the parade starts in town (approx 3.00 p.m.). The fair will also run from 10.00 a.m. until 5.00 p.m. the following day – on Friday, March 18. With all kinds of arts and crafts on sale - including greetings cards, jewellery, clothes, photography, knitwear – it’s the perfect opportunity to buy something for upcoming Mother’s Day!
