Gaelscoil na Cruaiche Per Cent for Art Commission:
The Board of Management of Gaelscoil na Cruaiche, Westport, Co. Mayo wish to commission a site specific visual art work, which will be positioned to the front of its new primary school building, which is currently under construction. The piece must be in situ by September, 2011.
Although no specific theme is prescribed for this commission it must make a strong visual statement about the school. The artist’s proposal should take into consideration the spirit, ethos, history and activities of the school. Selection will be by way of a one-stage open submission competition. The budget for this commission is €14,900.00. This includes artist’s fees, design material and fabrication costs and all other associated costs including V.A.T.

Public Art Commission – Call for Interest – Per Cent for Art Scheme
Scoil Chriost Ri and St.Marys CBS Portlaoise under the Department of Education & Science Per Cent for Art Scheme wish to commission permanent artworks for their new school buildings. The total fund awarded is €98,790 to include all fees, costs, transport and installation. This commission will be awarded by a two-stage selection process.
At this first stage, the school invites expressions of interest from professional artists working in the area of sculpture for these site specific artworks. At the second stage, artists will be shortlisted and invited to submit a detailed concept proposal for the final pieces. The project is to be fully completed and the final artworks installed by April 2011.
Deadline for expressions of interest is 3pm, Tuesday 1st March 2011.

City of Limerick VEC (CLVEC) under the Per Cent for Art Scheme wishes to commission a piece of Art Work for St. Nessan’s Community College, Moylish Park , Limerick.
