Adapted and performed by Des Keogh from John B Keane’s Letters of a Love-Hungry Farmer, this acclaimed one-man show tells the story of John Bosco McLane, a bachelor of ‘indeterminate’ age and according to his own assessment, ‘past his best’, and still inexperienced in the ways of love. Des Keogh chronicles McLane’s amorous adventures that range from the hilarious to the pitiful. One of the great Irish writers, John B Keane’s ‘Letters’ series of books were a spectacular success, with The Love Hungry Farmer being particularly outstanding. Des Keogh, one ofIreland’s foremost actors and entertainers, returns with his hugely successful and award-winning show. Don’t miss it.
