TERRIFIC TWOS for 2 year olds
From Saturday 9th June (for four weeks)
Back by popular demand! A paint-and-make playground for 2-year olds to explore with a parent, guardian or teenage sibling, including painting, drawing, glue and glitter, sand art, collage, chalk and lots more, in a safe environment under the direction of artist and teacher Lucy Hill.
Lucy Hill is aNewportbased painter who studied painting inCork,DublinandBarcelona. Her work has been exhibited throughout the country and she has been the recipient of numerous awards, public art commissions and residencies. Lucy has a keen interest in visual art education for the very young, and over the last number of years she has been developing her ever-popular art workshops for two-year-olds here at the Linenhall Arts Centre. Her workshops exude an air of happy and calm playfulness in an environment where children are free to explore artistic materials as they please.
TERRIFIC TWOS runs over four weeks from Saturday 9th June (continuing Saturdays 16th June, 22nd June, 30th June) from 10.30am-11.30am. Children must be accompanied by a guardian. The fee for the full four sessions is €35 per child. All materials are provided. Places are limited and pre-booking is ESSENTIAL. Booking and further information from the Linenhall.

VISUAL ART PLAY for 2-5 year olds
From Saturday 9th June (for four weeks)
A paint-and-make playground for 2-5 year olds to explore with a parent or guardian, including painting, drawing, glue and glitter, sand art, collage, chalk and lots more. Children get to make their own creative decisions and choose from a wide variety of materials, exploring colour and texture along the way in a safe environment under the direction of artist and teacher Lucy Hill.
VISUAL ART PLAY runs over four weeks from Saturday 9th June (continuing Saturdays 16th June, 22nd June, 30th June) from 12.15pm-1.15pm. Children must be accompanied by a guardian. ÁRAS INIS GLUAIRE
ÁISLEANN BHÉAL AN MHUIRTHEAD, BELMULLET,

A Certificate in Performing Arts course – an exciting new local training initiative created by FÁS – will be starting in Áras Inis Gluaire on Monday, 25th June. The course is FETAC Level 5 and it will take place in Áras Inis Gluaire, Belmullet (located in the new civic centre in the town).
The course, which will run for nine months, involves eight FETAC modules: Communications, Work Experience, Theatre Performance, Event Production, Stage Management & Administration, Sound Engineering & Production, Radio Programme Production and Film & TV Production.
There is a substantial element of work experience, requiring participants to have a hands-on role in Áras Inis Gluaire - this will range from assisting in productions, organising open days, workshops and exhibitions, overseeing safety and procedure during performances, taking bookings, managing attendance spread sheets, developing media campaigns, welcoming visiting companies, as well as achieving personally defined goals within the setting of a busy theatre and arts centre. Participants on this course will be supported by a training supervisor, as well as an assistant supervisor.

Claremorris Performance Academy
ClaremorrisPerformanceAcademyoffers weekly master classes in Drama, Dance and Singing. They employ experienced and qualified teachers to provide educational and fun filled classes in the three main disciplines of performing arts as well as other dimensions of musical theatre.
ClaremorrisPerformaceAcademycaters for children aged between six to seventeen years of age. Classes are held every Saturday morning in The Town Hall, Claremorris, and each Academy Term is well planned for the students. Every student participates in each of the three disciplines Drama, Dance and Singing. Classes are split into three 40 minute sessions, where students learn each skill in a class of similar aged students.
Apart from their classes being educational and fun, being part ofClaremorrisPerformanceAcademywill help to develop confidence, physical awareness, articulation and communication.
