Heinrich Böll Memorial Weekend
May 4th – May 6th 2012
The Annual Heinrich Böll Memorial Weekend 2012 will take place from Friday May 4th – Sunday May 6th at Cyril Gray Memorial Hall, Dugort Achill.
The event will be formally opened by the recently appointed German Ambassador to Ireland Dr. Eckhard Lübkemeier at 7.30 pm on Friday May 4ht 2012.

4.00pm: Timpeall na Cruinne / The four winds:
Once the fireside music of the natives, Irish music has become popular throughout the world. For this special concert we welcome artists from Japan ( Mayo Yanachi), Australia (Tony O’Rourke), Sweeden (Lena Ullman), Germany (Anna Falkenau), Zimbabwe (Tura Arutura), England (Verena Commins) and the USA (Martin & Christine Dowling). Beidh céad míle fáilte rompu, ag cur saibhris lenár gceol agus lenár gcultúr.
