The Linenhall’s annual arts extravaganza for young people, celebrating its 12th birthday with a bulging programme of top quality shows, workshops and much, much more. Cahoots NI - The Musician
A spellbinding new opera for children that tells the story of the child that was to become the best known flautist of them all… the Pied Piper. Using magic, dance, narrative and an orchestra of instruments, The Musician is a totally original and darkly thrilling piece of musical theatre for children, inspired by classic children’s fairytales. Written and composed by Conor Mitchell. Suitable for ages 9 years+. Adm.: €8

Teatergruppen Batida - Spaghetti
“Spaghetti makes you tall”, say the two lanky fellows. And then they cook spaghetti right there on stage! But then their neighbour, who is short and round, wants to join in the feast. A charming, heart-warming story about irreconcilable opposites, a fun-packed mix of clowning, theatre and live music presented by Denmark’s Teatergruppen Batida. Suitable for ages 4 years+. Adm.: €8

PigNut - Ahhhh!!
Welcome to Jay’s world, where bubbles, a pet pig, mysterious plants, and more come together to create moments of ‘ahhhh!!’ A show full of magic and delight, Ahhhh!! is a gorgeous performance combining music, illusion and physical theatre, designed with loving care for very young children. Suitable for pre-school children aged 2-3years and their guardians.

The Magician’s Garden
The Magician has left his garden and his spells have gone wild, taking root and even taking flight! After twilight, the veil of reality slips just a little and visions appear in a magical glow of lights. An enchanting visual experience for all the family, devised by artist Tom Meskell in association with the HSE Rural Training Centre, Castlebar.
