All Amateur Drama groups based in County Mayo are eligible to apply for the award. Please note that the group must have put on one production in 2017. The award of €800 is assessed by an independent expert selection board appointed by Mayo County Council. The award is granted based on innovation, development of excellence, quality, creativity and improvement of the local Amateur Drama sector.

Mayo County Council Arts Office is currently developing a new five-year strategic arts plan for the county, which will be produced early next year.
We are actively seeking the views of those involved and interested in the arts, at all levels, within the county. This includes arts venues, festivals, artists, communities and people who use, or who benefit from our service.
