Burial Grounds

The participation of local communities in the maintenance of local burial grounds for the initial five year period is continuing to grow.

At present there are 105 Committees actively involved in the upkeep and improvement of their local burial ground. Mayo County Council acknowledges and appreciates the voluntary effort being made by these communities and looks forward to their continued participation.

Any Community is welcome to get involved in the up keep or improvement of local burial grounds. Mayo County Council provides assistance.
