Draft County Mayo Heritage Plan 2011-2016
The Draft Heritage Plan is a countywide 6-year action plan which aims to protect, enhance and promote awareness of heritage in Mayo. The preparation and implementation of the Heritage Plan is led by Mayo County Council, and guided by the Mayo Heritage Forum, a partnership with other national bodies, community and heritage groups.
The Heritage Forum wants to hear your views on the Draft Plan.
In order to build on the successes of the County Mayo Heritage Plan 2006-2011, and to ensure that the next Heritage Plan reflects the heritage needs of the county, the Heritage Officer is inviting you to participate in the consultation process and avail of the opportunity to comment on this draft plan. Written submissions and should be received by the Heritage Forum, c/o Heritage Officer, by Friday 15th April, 2011.
You are invited to comment on the draft plan by making a written submission or by attending one of the public consultaion meetings listed below:
