Gradam Gnó le Gaeilge | Mayo Business Award

Do you know of any business where you can receive a service through the medium of Irish? Any business where the staff speak Irish to you? Do you know of any business that uses Irish in their branding or signage? 

If you do, it'd be worth nominating them, or your own business, for the Gradam Gnó le Gaeilge - prizefund €7,000.

The aim of this award is to give recognition to businesses in Mayo who show that they are using and promoting the Irish language in their business. This competition is not open to organisations whose main aim is to promote the Irish language, for example Conradh na Gaeilge.

  • The Gradam Gnó le Gaeilge prize worth €7000 will be awarded to the winner in the following form:
  • €2000 worth of advertising with Mid West Radio
  • €2500 worth of advertising with the Mayo Advertiser
  • €2000 to spend on design and print with Cashin Print
  • An Irish language course for the winning team with Gnó Mhaigh Eo
  • Training Vouchers from Mayo County Enterprise Board
  • A Gradam Gnó le Gaeilge Plaque
