SONAS
- FÉILE EALAÍONA AOS ÓG CHLUAIN CEARBÁN | LOUISBURGH CHILDREN'S ARTS FESTIVAL

Le na laethanta ag giorrú agus ag éirí níos dorcha tá roinnt Sonas uainn i gCluain Cearbán, gCilín agus Leac an Anfa chun an teocht a chur ar ais san Fhómhar. Is é ábhar an fhéile i mbliana na Finscéal agus Miotas agus tá clár corraitheach againne le ceoltóírí agus aisteoirí aithnidiúil agus nua. Ta féile Sonas ag fás - 12 blian d'aois. Tá athrú tagtha ar an bhféíle i mbliana agus beidh sé seo le feiceáil Dé Sathairn 16ú Deireadh Fómhair sa Bhunscoil i gCluain Cearbán, mar sin buail isteach. Bígí cinnte go bhfuil sibh ann don lá deireanach i Halla Cúng Cluain Cearbán agus bí i do thaiscéalaí i tír lán le miotas. Ar an sceideal i mbliana tá scéalaíocht, pupadóireacht, scríbhneoireacht, ceol, drámaíocht agus i bhfad níos mó deiseanna do pháistí thriall a bhaint as ábhar ealaíonta éagsúla - giota den ealaíontóireacht den scoth anseo i gCluain Cearbán. Bígí linn. Bígí sona...

As the evenings start to get longer and darker, the communities of Lousiburgh, Killeen and Lecanvey need some Sonas to bring some brightness into Autumn. Our theme this year is Myths and Legends and we have an exciting programme, with familiar faces and some brand new performers. Sonas is growing up - 12 years old! We've revamped the Sonas weekend this year and this can be seen in our combined workshop and drop-in day on Saturday, 16th October in Louisburgh National School. Be sure and come along to our final day celebration in Louisburgh Parochial Hall where all will get an opportunity to explore a mythical land. Our schedule for this year includes storytelling, puppetry, literature, drama, music as well as lots of opportunities for children to try their hand at some new arts activities - a little of the best of children's arts, right here in Louisburgh! Come along and see for yourself...
