Local Improvement scheme 2013

Applications in respect of the above are available from Mayo Co Co for improvements to non public roads.

A minimum specification will apply in respect of any proposed works as follows:

• The road will be constructed and surfaced dressed to normal Local road standards.
• A minimum of 0.5 metres grass verge will be provided on each side of the carriageway.
• A proper drainage system will be incorporated in the scheme.
• The finished level of the road will be 300 mm above flood levels in areas which are subject to flooding.

A local contribution of 20% is required from applicants before any works are commenced.

The closing date for receipt of applications is Friday 17th May 2013.
