TO CONSIDER REPORT DATED 17TH APRIL, 2002, PURSUANT TO SECTION 2(8) OF THE CITY AND COUNTY MANAGEMENT (AMENDMENT) ACT, 1955, AND PART 10 OF THE LOCAL GOVERNMENT (PLANNING AND DEVELOPMENT) REGULATIONS, 1994, IN RESPECT OF PROPOSAL FOR CONSTURCTION OF NEW PIER AT CLYNISH ISLAND, WESTPORT.

TO APPROVE OF THE DISPOSAL OF 0.628 HECTARES OF LAND IN THE TOWNLAND OF BALLYHOWLEY, KNOCK, TO PEC PRIORITY, ANNAVILLE HOUSE, NEWTOWN, WATERFORD, IN ACCORDANCE WITH NOTICE DATED 10TH APRIL, 2002, ALREADY CIRCULATED.

NOTICES OF MOTION

(a) "That Mayo County Council take immediate action on derelict sites in our towns and villages to help enhance our County."

Reply was noted.

(b) "That Mayo County Council do a re-launch of the Town Renewal Scheme which, to date, has not the desired effect in the designated towns."

(c) "Calling on Mayo County Council to have all septic tanks in the County upgraded where necessary to modern specification and to extend the Essential Repair Grant Scheme to cover the cost of same."
