MINUTES OF MAYO COUNTY COUNCIL MEETING HELD ON MONDAY, 8TH APRIL, 2002, AT 4.OO p.m.

At the outset of the Meeting, the Cathaoirleach stated that he wished, on behalf ot the Council, to extend Good Wishes to the new Bishop of Killala, Dr. John Fleming. He also extended Best Wishes to the outgoing Bishop, Dr. Thomas Finnegan.

L-15037-0 to the east of the new Bypass.

In the townland of Cloondace in County Mayo, the closure of the County Road
L-5570-0 to the east of the new Bypass.

In the townland of Cloondace in County Mayo, the closure of the section of the County Road L-5570-0 to the west of the Bypass and the realignment of this road.

In the townland of Derragh in County Mayo, the closure of County Road L-59484-0 to the east of the new Bypass.

TO CONSIDER ENTERING INTO AN AGREEMENT WITH RIVER MOY HARBOUR COMMISSIONERS IN ACCORDANCE WITH SECTION 85 OF THE LOCAL GOVERNMENT ACT, 2001, IN RESPECT OF BALLINA MARINA PROJECT.

(c) "Calling on Mayo County Council to supply fitted kitchens in the rural houses built by the Council".

(d) "In view of Castlebar Sewerage Treatment Works being selected for a Public Private Partnership, that the Mayo County Manager outlines in detail the implications for Mayo County Council versus direct funding from the Dept. of Environment".

Mr. J. Beirne, Dir. of Services / Co. Engineer clarified the position regarding
the design, build and operate scheme and public private partnership. A general discussion then ensued.
