TO CONSIDER LIST OF PLANNING APPLICATIONS DATED 18th MARCH, 2003.
1. Mulranny Day Centre Housing Company Ltd. – Application for
Planning Permission to construct sheltered housing and daycare
support facilities comprising 7 No. 3-bedroom units, 14 No.
2-bedroom units, 3 No. 1-bedroom wheelchair units, 3-bedroom
caretakers unit in semi-detached, detached and terraced style at

Knockavrony, Ballyvary.

nursing home, new vehicular access and connection to existing

Louisburgh.
The Council were informed of the up to date position on this

ITEM NO. 2.
TO CONSIDER DECIDING TO GRANT PERMISSION FOR THE CONSTRUC-
TION OF A RETAIL UNIT, STORE, OFFICES, STAFF FACILITIES, YARD COMPOUND AND GENERATOR ROOM TOGETHER WITH ACCESS ROAD AND PARKING AND ALL ANCILLARY SITE WORKS AND SERVICES AT HAZELHILL, BALLYHAUNIS, CO. MAYO, WHICH WOULD MATERIALLY CONTRAVENE THE BALLYHAUNIS TOWN PLAN 1984.

“That the Council hereby decide to grant Permission for the construction of a retail unit, store, offices, staff facilities, yard compound and generator room together with access road and parking and all ancillary site works and services at Hazelhill, Ballyhaunis, Co. Mayo, which materially contravenes the Ballyhaunis Town Plan 1984”.
ITEM NO. 3.
TO CONSIDER REPORT DATED 6th MARCH, 2003, IN ACCORDANCE WITH PART 8 OF THE LOCAL GOVERNMENT (PLANNING AND DEVELOPMENT) REGULATIONS, 2001, AND THE LOCAL GOVERNMENT ACT, 2001, IN RESPECT OF PROPOSAL FOR BLACKSOD MARINA DEVELOPMENT.

TO CONSIDER REPORT DATED 13th MARCH, 2003, IN ACCORDANCE WITH PART 8 OF THE LOCAL GOVERNMENT (PLANNING AND DEVELOPMENT) REGULATIONS, 2001, AND THE LOCAL GOVERNMENT ACT, 2001, IN RESPECT OF PROPOSED HOUSING DEVELOPMENT AT AUGHAGOWER, WESTPORT.

ITEM NO. 6.
POLICY TRAINING SEMINARS FOR ELECTED MEMBERS.
Mr. J. Condon, Meetings Administrator, informed the Meeting that any Councillor wishing to attend Environment Policy Seminars for Elected Members, organised by the Institute of Public Administration on behalf of the Department of the Environment and Local Government in association with A.M.A.I., G.C.C.C. and L.A.M.A., should submit their names in writing to him as soon as possible.

The County Manager informed the Members of an Invitation which had been received from Coca Cola (Ballina Beverages) to visit their Plant in Ballina.
It was agreed to accept the Invitation to visit the Plant at times and dates to be agreed.
