(a) TO NOTE ANNUAL
FINANCIAL STATEMENT FOR YEAR ENDING
31st
DECEMBER, 2003;
(b) TO APPROVE EXPENDITURE
IN EXCESS OF BUDGET FOR 2003.
Mr. T. Mullen, Head of Finance, gave a brief outline to the Members of
the Annual Financial Statement for Year ending 31st December, 2003.

Resolved:-
“That Annual Financial
Statement for year ending 31st December,
2003, be noted”.

approve of variations of expenditure in
2003 in relation to the
expenditure provided for in the adopted
Budget for 2003, as
detailed in Schedule incorporated in the Annual
Financial Statement for
2003 and amounting in total to a reduction of
€175,616”.

TO NOTE LOCAL GOVERNMENT AUDITOR’S REPORT FOR YEAR ENDING 31st
DECEMBER, 2001.

Resolved:-
“That Local Government Auditor’s Report for Year ending 31st
December, 2001, as circulated, be noted by the Council”.
Many tributes were paid to Mr. Tim Mullen, Head of Finance, who is
retiring from Mayo County Council after 46 years of loyal and dedicated
service.
41st Europeade – Riga, Latvia – July, 2004.

Resolved:-
“That Cllr. F. Chambers be nominated to attend 41st Europeade
to be held in Riga, Latvia, from 21st to 25th July, 2004,
and the necessary expenditure is hereby approved”.
