Clare Island Community Centre is your destination for innovation and collaboration located at the mouth of Clew Bay, just five kilometers off the Mayo coastline. Established in January 2021, the social enterprise serves a diverse range of sectors, including community, business, service, research, and the public sector.
Clare Island’s co-working space is equipped with ten hot desks, offers a dynamic environment complemented by free high-speed broadband, high-spec seating, and modern lighting and heating amenities.
Exciting developments are on the horizon as the hub plans to unveil individual office spaces, a conference room, a virtual classroom, and a virtual health consultancy room. Notably, Clare Island Living Lab is at the forefront of a national pilot project in virtual health for rural and island communities, collaborating with esteemed partners such as the HSE, CISCO, and NUIG.
